John Magee

John Magee is one of the founders of MageeNET, and also serves as Chief Technology Officer of Adam Aircraft. Through 2002 and 2003, he was Chief Technology Officer of AdamApps, Inc. Prior to that, he was Chief Technology Officer of tapX Ltd, a UK-based company developing B2B financial settlement services, and still serves as a consultant to them. MageeNET provides web hosting services for CASHFAC Ltd which include tapX Ltd.

Mr. Magee had several management assignments at New Era Of Networks, including CIO, head of product development for financial services industry electronic commerce products, and building the infrastructure for NEON’s hosted service offerings. As a consultant, he has helped organizations adopt the technology architectures and management strategies they needed to remain competitive during periods of rapid change. At Goldman Sachs, he designed and implemented a totally new telecommunications network, including management features for user chargeback ensuring that business units were charge for their direct consumption of services. At Consolidated Edison Company of New York, he led the support of one of the world's largest redundant communications networks hosted by IBM mainframes. Mr. Magee’s career began in the 1960s at IBM, where he played a major role in service planning for large mainframe software.

Valerie Shainin Magee

Valerie Magee, one of the founders of MageeNET, has been an independent consultant for nine years, developing web sites and online stores for commercial and non-profit clients. She was a prinicipal with AdamApps, Inc. and now serves as Vice President of MageeNet. She has specialized in arts related web sites, including those of musicians and writers, as well as a non-profit artists' retreat.

Valerie has a Gold Record from Warner Music Canada for the 2002 Gordon Lightfoot Complete Greatest Hits CD, in recognition of her Internet marketing. Her Gordon Lightfoot fan site, in existance for 9 1/2 years, has become the the most referenced internet site for the singer/songwriter, best known for Wreck of the Edmund Fitzerald, his epic song about the sinking of the ore freighter, the Edmund Fitzgerald, and the bittersweet story of a failed marriage, If You Could Read My Mind.

Prior to her independent consulting, Valerie developed the corporate web site for New Era Of Networks (NEON). Her career spans more than 30 years, starting at IBM, where she held technical and management positions in development, systems support and sales. Throughout her career she has specialized in end-user applications with an emphasis on ease of use and human factors. She has a BA in math from Cornell University.

Doug Magee

Doug Magee is a Technology Consultant and Developer for MageeNET. He has more than nine years of professional networking, operating system, and Internet design and development experience behind him and provides both programming and operational support for MageeNET. Several of the web sites or web application services were developed partially or completely by Doug including the Online Store Systems (both full and single page variety), the Yaddo Calendar and Artist Link Subsystem, and the Adam Aircraft HR System.

Jim Parks

Jim Parks joined AdamApps in 2002, and serves as Accounting Consultant to MageeNet. Prior to AdamApps, he was Vice President of MIS Applications for New Era of Networks (NEON) and Director of Information Systems for Sybase (following Sybase's acquisition of New Era of Networks). He spearheaded the implementation of PeopleSoft Financials and Human Resources systems, including interfaces to an integrated project management, time and billing system, a sales force automation system, a customer relationship management system, and other internal applications. As Finance Director for NEON's Asia Pacific region, he led the conversion to SAP financials and the integration into the PeopleSoft system. From inception through the firm's IPO, two secondary offerings, and the acquisition of nine companies, he served as Vice President of Finance and Controller.

For 13 years, Mr. Parks served as a consultant to many startup technology companies, assisting these firms with accounting, financing, tax, treasury, budgeting, management reporting, and other business services. Early in his career, he was a Manager for Arthur Andersen & Co., responsible for fifty clients varying in size and industry. He holds an MBA in accounting and statistics from the University of Denver and a BA in mathematics and business from the University of Northern Colorado. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Terry Truman

Terry Truman joined AdamApps in 2002 as Vice President of Sales Productivity; he now serves as a Consultant to MageeNET and to Adam Aircraft. Prior to AdamApps, he was Vice President of Marketing for Tian Software Company, a provider of context-aware web services to retail, finance, and pharmaceutical businesses. Previously, he was Vice President of Sales Productivity for New Era of Networks (NEON), joining the firm at a very early stage and helping build the company to $188 million in revenue and a $3 billion market cap. Over a long career, he has helped build several other successful software companies from startup or through turnaround. Mr. Truman holds many corporate communication awards in a variety of categories. He earned a BA degree in American Literature from Loretto Heights College.
